Pacific Quest outdoor therapy program is pleased to welcome Todd Ransdell as the Young Adult Program Director at the historical Reeds Bay in Hilo. In his new role, Todd is responsible for supervision of the young adult program, personnel management, and assistance with outreach coordination. Other responsibilities will include co-development and quality assurance of

supervisory roles, ensuring follow through of behavioral treatment plans as well as collaborating with both clinical and wellness departments. Todd’s expertise will be invaluable in overseeing program policies and procedures, curriculum implementation, and providing performance evaluations for the supervisor team.

Todd’s background in outdoor therapy began in 2003 where he worked at a nationally respected wilderness therapy program for adolescents. After four years, Todd played a key role in opening a young adult program – Four Circles Recovery Center – where he served as Field Director for six years. After hearing about Pacific Quest, he became interested in joining the team and is now happy to be serving as Program Director of the Young Adult program in Reeds Bay. Todd brings many years of experience working with the young adult population and intends to help facilitate a meaningful, safe program.

In his spare time, Todd enjoys hiking, swimming in the ocean, organic gardening, and reading among many other activities. His favorite activity is spending time with his wife and sons.
